This
is a pre-coated steel covered by a co-rolled Poly Ethylene
Telephtalate (P.E.T) polymer film. The thin film is only
12 microns in thickness and is very flexible. It is stuck
to the pre-coated steel using a polymer adhesive which
is 2 microns thick. The PET film protects the pre-painted
product, providing good scratch resistance and protection
against most corrosive detergents and powerful sprays,
making it a popular in the manufacture of cold-rooms.
