ASD metal services appoints new Chief Financial Officer
ASD metal services, the largest independent multi-metal stockholder and distributor in the UK, has announced the appointment of Nichola Skelton as Chief Financial Officer.
In a broad strategic and operational remit, Ms Skelton’s responsibilities will cover the company’s financial and commercial support activities. She also takes on the roles of Company Secretary and Corporate Compliance Officer.
Prior to joining ASD she was Finance Director - Direct Channels for Lloyds Banking Group, responsible for on-line and telephone banking and group marketing. She has also held senior financial positions with Marconi Telecommunications including Finance Director Northern Europe Division and Group Operations Finance. In addition, she spent time as a Business Consultant for IBM.
With a degree in European Finance and Accounting from Leeds Metropolitan University, Ms Skelton also studied in Germany and gained a Diploma in Finance and Accounting from the Bremen Hochshule. She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Headquartered in Stourton, Leeds and with 45 branches throughout the UK, ASD operates through four divisions and supplies General Steels, Stainless Steel and Aluminium, Flat Products and Speciality Products.
